Shih Tzu Puppy Sales Agreement.
Sales Of Puppy: The Breeder agrees to sell, and the Buyer agrees to purchase, one (1) Shih Tzu puppy for the price of $500.
Health Guarantee: The Breeder guarantees that the Puppy is in good health at the time of sale and is up-to-date on all vaccinations and deworming. The Breeder provides the following health guarantee:
a. Vet Examination: The breeder will provide a lifetime health guarantee against congenital defects. The Buyer must take the Puppy to a licensed veterinarian for a checkup within seven (7) days of receiving the Puppy. If the veterinarian finds the Puppy to be ill or have a serious congenital defect, the Breeder will refund the full purchase price, including any shipping costs, upon return of the Puppy.
b. Hypoglycemia: The Breeder guarantees the Puppy against hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) for the lifetime of the Puppy. If the Puppy is diagnosed with hypoglycemia by two (2) licensed veterinarians, the Breeder will replace the Puppy with another of equal value or refund the full purchase price, including any shipping costs, upon return of the Puppy.
c. Communicable Diseases: If the Puppy is diagnosed with a communicable disease within the first fourteen (14) days of the Buyer receiving the Puppy, the Breeder will refund the full purchase price, including any shipping costs, upon return of the Puppy.
d. Vet Examination: The Buyer must take the Puppy to a licensed veterinarian for a checkup within seven (7) days of receiving the Puppy. If the veterinarian finds the Puppy to be ill or have a serious congenital defect, the Breeder will refund the full purchase price, including any shipping costs, upon return of the Puppy.
Shipping and Pickup:
a. Shipping: If the Puppy is to be shipped, the Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. The Puppy will be shipped via a reputable pet transportation service, and the Buyer will be provided with tracking information.
b. Pickup: If the Buyer is picking up the Puppy, a refundable deposit of $300 must be paid at the time of this agreement. The remaining balance must be paid in full upon pickup of the Puppy.
Payment:
The full purchase price of the Puppy must be paid before the Puppy is delivered to the Buyer, either by shipping or pickup. For pickup, a $300 refundable deposit is required at the time of this agreement, with the remaining balance of $200 due upon pickup of the Puppy.
Buyer's Responsibilities:
The Buyer agrees to provide the Puppy with proper care, including adequate food, water, shelter, exercise, and veterinary care. The Buyer also agrees to comply with all state and local laws regarding the ownership of a dog.
Return: If at any moment the buyer is no longer capable of providing the basic care for the puppy due to some major life changes. The buyer can return the puppy to the sender. The buyer will be responsible to pay for re-shipping if applied.
If upon vet check the puppy is unhealthy, The Buyer will receive a full refund or replacement of the puppy only if a written and signed statement is to be obtained from two Licensed Veterinarian’s from two different clinics as proof of the Genetic Defects.
